Nexus

Nexus is my first release on Catalog and it's a track I've been sitting on for some time. There are three commercially released tracks which in a sense, form the backbone of this track. Solar Plexus, Solar Plexus II and Solar Plexus III. All of these are available on the usual streaming platforms but Nexus is currently unreleased. If you listen to all four tracks you should be able to hear the thread that weaves between them all.

Music is a tricky thing to put into words, I guess that's why it's music. For me, it's thoughts and emotions which the artist feels are better expressed through sound rather than text on a page. The Solar Plexus series was given it's name since that's where the first one hit me as I played it back loud in my studio after getting it back from the mastering engineer. Nexus is the final track in the series that binds the four together, the connection between them and the track which all the others 'borrowed' from. The kick, the hats, the sub bass synths etc for all of Solar Plexus tracks originated in Nexus. In a way it's kinda back to front. The template, the initial track written became the final track in this series to make it out and be available to the public.

I hope you enjoy listening to it and please interpret it how you will. We can all feel a different thing when listening to a piece of music. Let it speak to you in whatever way seems best.
